Scheels Design Challenge

The Scheels Design Challenge was hosted by the Scheels design studio at Scheels Home & Hardware in Fargo, ND. As Interior Design Students at NDSU, we got invited to take part in this competition sponsored by Magnolia Home and partnered with Midwest Nest Magazine. We began in the spring of 2021 and ended in the fall of 2021. In the spring we were given a design style, a list of vendors to order from, a vignette space within the store, and a budget of $500 in order to select our FF&E. Then, we selected our items and, in the fall, on challenge day, we had to assemble our vignette within four hours before the judges and public came to view them!
