The Winslow Hotel

Spring 2022

Programs & Skills Used:
Revit - Enscape - Publisher & Word - Canva

For the spring semester of my junior year in interior design, my partner Michaela Hol and I worked on designing a boutique hotel. The goal of The Winslow Hotel was to provide guests with a unique experience of the Fargo culture while retaining several historical features of the building, also known as adaptive reuse. Our industrial design style was selected to highlight the prior use of the building as a Ford vehicle assembly plant. Other goals we had for our hotel were to create a memorable guest experience through comfortable materials, biophilia, and a variety of amenities. Furthermore, we considered sustainability, COVID-19, and inclusive design in all aspects of our design to create a well-rounded stay for each guest.

Below are images of the guest suite as well as several public spaces throughout the hotel. The documents listed at the bottom were our final submittal materials which include construction documents, a programming binder and presentation folio.
